Mary Eliza Keating is a professional violinist in the Los Angeles area. She completed her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from California State University, Northridge. Mary has studied with pedagogues such as Michael Ferril, David Russell and Arnold Belnick. Mary performs a wide variety of music including classical, jazz, folk, pop, rock and Celtic music. As a freelance musician, she has had the opportunity to collaborate or perform with various artists and composers such as Kendrick Lamar, Deadmau5, Yoshiki, Seal, Kygo, Gloria Trevi, Cathy Rigby, David Newman, John Williams, and has appeared on television shows such as America's Got Talent. Mary’s orchestral experience includes Debut Orchestra, GSPO, San Fernando Valley Symphony, San Bernardino Symphony, Central Philharmonic, and L’Orchestra Italiana del Cinema.

​Mary has had the opportunity to perform in several venues, including the Hollywood Bowl, Redlands Bowl, the House of Blues, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Palacio de los Deportes, Grammy Museum, Warner Grand Theater, California Theater, La Mirada Performing Arts Center, Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center, and many other venues. She has also had the opportunity to solo with orchestras such as the Redlands Community Orchestra and the RCC Symphony. Along with performing, Mary also enjoys recording for various projects, teaching, and coaching aspiring musicians. She is currently on faculty at the Claremont Community School of Music.
